Staff made it a nice stay
The friendly staff goes above and beyond. The room was tidy and comfortable, and the breakfast spread was delectable.
The restaurant was noticeably understaffed one evening, causing delays in service. It was challenging to see one person managing everything.

I stayed at the Ibis Alicante Agua Amarga fo 1 night because I was going to the airport the next morning, This hotel is in the middle of two beaches, being about 4km between each, the nearest shop is in the city, again 4km, however.... Fantastic staff, friendly, 12 euros for a taxi to/from airport...... Cheap room, comfy, clean had a beautiful sea view, perfect hotel!!!
Location only good for airport or if you dont mind travelling a bit - but please be aware, the hotel is worth it even though its far out!!.

Maintenance issues need addressing!!! The entrance with a broken intercom is unacceptable. The baby cot should have been super clean. Overall feel of the rooms is outdated and neglected, just not up to par for a modern hotel experience!!!

Bed a little hard, but still good value.

If you have a car it is only 10 min away from the city of Alicant and the airport making it perfect to less stress to get to the airport or city. Taxi to the city costs 10-12 euros. The aircondition could be better. Wifi costs 5 Euros per day.

It was relatively easy to find and we were on a bike on a road trip so just needed a place to stay for the night. The staff were really kind, helpful and friendly which was not the same at the Ibis in Madrid......
